Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
Anabel is a board-certified Family Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, trained to treat behavioral and mental health across the lifespan. She graduated with her Masters in Nursing from the University of Texas at Austin.
Prior to becoming an advanced practice nurse, Anabel worked as a Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in the areas of addiction, abuse, and sexual offenses. She also worked as a registered nurse in various areas, including addiction, severe mental health, and labor and delivery. Anabel’s past experiences have equipped her to work well with diverse populations, be culturally competent, and have a wide array of training across specialities.
Anabel strives to work in a collaborative approach with her patients in order to help support their treatment goals through evidence-based practice.
