Becky Scaduto, MSN, RN, PMHNP-BC

Family Nurse Practitioner

Becky is a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, licensed and trained to treat mental health concerns across the lifespan. She received her bachelors of science in psychology from the University of Texas at Austin. During her undergraduate studies and after graduation, she worked as a research assistant studying potential pharmacological treatments of alcohol use disorder. After graduating she returned to the University of Texas to pursue a Masters of Nursing degree with a focus on a Psychiatric Mental-Health Nurse Practitioner certification. She has worked as both a nurse and a provider in the addiction field since receiving her nursing license. In addition to an out-patient practice with CARMA, Becky works with a number of local substance use disorder treatment facilities as well. Though most of her early practice was related to addiction, Becky also provides general psychiatric care and enjoys finding sustainable solutions for people struggling with anxiety, mood and thought disorders.

Thanks to her background in research, Becky values evidence-based practice, and strives to provide the most up-to-date recommendations for her patients. She values collaboration and teamwork, and feels these values are exemplified by CARMA’s mission. She believes close communication and partnerships between psychiatric and primary care are essential to quality healthcare and values the opportunities for collaboration afforded by CARMA’s model of care.
