David Walsh, MSN, RN, PMHNP-BC,
Chief Operations Officer, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
David is a board-certified Family Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, licensed and trained to treat behavioral health concerns across the lifespan. In practice, David’s primary area of interest is in working with families struggling with addiction, and supporting those in recovery through smart medication management and ongoing therapy.
A graduate of The University of Texas at Austin, David is a published author, educator, and speaker who maintains close ties to both the University and a number of local and national professional affiliations.
His research background is matched by his experience, providing psychiatric medication management services not only at his clinic but also in several local substance abuse facilities. Prior to entering into advanced practice nursing, David served as Director of Nursing at a highly regarded 90-day residential treatment facility in the Austin area in addition to providing detox services and psychiatric nursing at rehabilitation centers and psychiatric hospitals locally.
David’s belief in the recovery model informs his empathic yet pragmatic approach to behavioral healthcare.
