Rachel specializes in mental health and addiction counseling and is board certified by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors and the Texas Department of State Health Services. Rachel graduated from the Counselor Education – Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at Texas Tech University. She has specialty training in motivational interviewing, Trauma Focused – Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and utilizes an eclectic approach to counseling.
Rachel provides empathetic, collaborative, and evidence-based treatment while working with adolescents and adults through individual and family therapy. She works attentively with each client and family to create a treatment plan based on their presenting symptoms and individual strengths. Rachel’s approach to treatment utilizes creativity as a catalyst for change while helping clients process the past, ground in the present, and explore the future.
