Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Erika is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who provides psychiatric diagnostic services, medication management, and brief psychotherapeutic interventions across the lifespan. She believes in a collaborative and holistic approach to care, seeking to partner and develop a plan with her clients so they can realize their full potential.

Erika graduated from Southwestern University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. She completed her registered nurse and psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner training at The University of Texas at Austin, where she earned her Master of Science in Nursing. She was inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society while at UT Austin.

She is a compassionate and empathetic clinician, making clinical decisions that are practical, empowering, and evidence-based. Her care is individualized and client centered, focusing on identifying and helping people recognize their own resilience in their path toward recovery. Her specific clinical interests include helping veterans, underserved populations, survivors of trauma and abuse, those coping with mood disorders, and the LGBT+ community.
