Jeff McCreight

Emergency and Addiction Medicine

Dr. McCreight is board-certified in Emergency Medicine by the American Board of Emergency Medicine, and Addiction Medicine by the American Board of Preventive Medicine. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Texas at Austin and received his medical degree at the University of Texas at Houston McGovern Medical School before completing his emergency medicine residency training at the University of Texas at Houston McGovern Medical School. During training, he served as the vice chief of critical care education and completed international emergency medicine rotations in Nepal and Fiji. 

With a sobriety date of May 16th, 2005, Dr. McCreight’s work in addiction medicine has been a natural career addition. Having personal experience with the disease of addiction provides him with a unique perspective in his treatment of patients with substance use disorders. Dr. McCreight is a member of the Texas Medical Association and a fellow of the American Society of Addiction Medicine.

Outside of work, Dr. McCreight is an avid traveler, aspiring pianist, and composer. His partner Slade and he are recently very occupied with raising their Brussels Griffon puppy, Archie.
