Allison Slack is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) who cares for patients across both Florida and Texas. She brings extensive training and experience treating acute and chronic psychiatric conditions across the lifespan, including depression, anxiety, mood disorders, and psychosis. Her certifications also extend to the treatment of drug and alcohol addiction, including acute detoxification with a focus on stabilization and recovery. Above all, Allison holds the highest commitment to individualized, comprehensive care for every patient she sees.

Born and raised in Pembroke Pines, Florida, Allison set her sights on nursing early. She earned her Bachelor of Nursing degree from Nova Southeastern University in 2011. While working as a registered nurse at Holy Cross Hospital, she chose to expand her expertise and enrolled in an advanced nursing program, earning her Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in psychiatry and mental health from Stony Brook University in New York in 2013.

Over the past several years, Allison has devoted her practice to psychiatric mental health services, with a focus on educating, advocating for, and mentoring her patients. Whether she is guiding someone through a new diagnosis, managing medications, or supporting recovery from addiction, she leads with empathy and evidence-based care.
