Dr. Jeff McCreight brings dual board-certified expertise in emergency medicine and addiction medicine to CARMAhealth. Certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine and the American Board of Preventive Medicine in addiction medicine, he combines the diagnostic precision of emergency care with a deep understanding of substance use disorders.

Dr. McCreight earned his medical degree from the University of Texas at Houston McGovern Medical School, where he also completed his emergency medicine residency. During training, he served as vice chief of critical care education and completed international emergency medicine rotations in Nepal and Fiji.

His transition to addiction medicine was informed by personal experience with recovery. As a Fellow of the American Society of Addiction Medicine, Dr. McCreight brings both clinical rigor and genuine empathy to every patient interaction. His firsthand understanding of the recovery journey allows him to connect with patients in a way that goes beyond textbook knowledge.
