Joey-Ann Alexander is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 14 years of healthcare experience. She holds dual certification in family medicine and psychiatry, bringing a comprehensive perspective to every patient she sees.

Joey-Ann earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Florida Atlantic University and completed her psychiatric certification at the University of Miami. Her extensive background in integrated behavioral health and primary care settings allows her to address both mental and physical health needs with equal expertise.

She prides herself on establishing therapeutic patient relationships, advocating for patient health, and providing quality, whole-person care. Joey-Ann's goal is to help every patient achieve optimal mind and body wellness. She co-authored research published in the Journal of Integrated Care examining how integrated care programs reduce emergency department visits for patients with concurrent medical and psychiatric conditions.

Outside of practice, Joey-Ann enjoys yoga, traveling, and spending time with her family. She sees patients at CARMAhealth's Coral Springs, Florida location.
