Katie Farsy is a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who provides compassionate, evidence-based care to children, adolescents, and adults experiencing mental health and substance use disorders. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The University of Texas at Tyler and her Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University. Katie is board certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).

Before joining CARMAhealth, Katie worked as a registered nurse in a variety of clinical settings, including critical care, adolescent psychiatric residential treatment, and emergency psychiatry. Through these experiences, she developed strong skills in crisis intervention, de-escalation, patient advocacy, and therapeutic communication while caring for individuals with complex psychiatric and behavioral health needs. Katie works with patients experiencing a variety of psychiatric and behavioral health concerns, including substance use disorders, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, behavioral issues, anxiety, depression, autism spectrum disorder, and more.

Katie is committed to creating a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where patients feel heard, respected, and empowered in their mental health journey. Katie sees patients in person at the 34th Street location in Austin, Texas, as well as via telehealth.
