Ruth Kreis-Orkoulas is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 30 years of nursing experience and 15 years specializing in psychiatric care. She is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and brings deep expertise in treating depression, anxiety, trauma, mood disorders, and substance use disorders.

Ruth completed her advanced psychiatric nursing training at Rutgers University and earned her undergraduate nursing degree from New York University. She practiced in New Jersey before relocating to Florida, where she has continued to build on her extensive clinical background.

With more than a decade of experience in substance use treatment, Ruth understands the complex relationship between mental health and recovery. She provides medication management for patients ages 13 and older, creating individualized treatment plans that address both psychiatric symptoms and underlying conditions.

Ruth believes in a partnership approach to care. Her goal is to help every patient find relief from symptoms so they can live life to the fullest. She sees patients at CARMAhealth's Coral Springs, Florida location.
